2020 was a year that will stick with all of us for the rest of our lives and will change the way we live our lives forever, at least that’s what I believe. It’s been a trend this year to focus strongly on the setbacks we’ve had this year, whether we joke about them, complain about them, or allow them to weigh heavily on our minds. You open up social media and it seems like the first thing you see is about how bad 2020 was or how terrible all our lives are, but what about all the blessings it’s brought us? It’s been an uncomfortable year, that is for sure, but change requires you to be uncomfortable, change doesn’t happen scathe free. This year has taught us all a lot about the world and about ourselves. Here are a couple of impactful things that 2020 has taught me.

You Must Create Space In Order To Receive Positive Things

There will always be toxicity around us. If you get online, watch TV, or even just walk outside, you’re going to have so many things thrown at you that could bring you down if you allow it, especially this year. When you aren’t conscious of what you consume, you can easily fill up all the space in your life with toxicity. When we fill our lives with negative perspectives and negative habits, we think about how badly we want good things in our life, yet we don’t realize that our lives just don’t have…
